Content Manager: Video Production & Trend Ops

Apex Byte Tech is an app studio focused on the development and distribution of viral mobile apps. Our content is a product lever—distribution is not optional.

We're hiring a Content Manager to lead content operations end-to-end: managing teams, sourcing ideas, turning trends into production plans, and shipping video output at speed. This is a leadership-and-execution role—half creative operator, half analytics-driven production lead.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a small content team (editors, creators, contractors) to produce and publish consistent short-form video.
  • Build and manage the content pipeline: ideation → scripting → production → editing → posting → iteration.
  • Find and prioritize trending content relevant to our product—formats, sounds, hooks, and storylines that perform now.
  • Identify key analytics and turn them into action (retention curves, hook performance, watch time, saves/shares, conversion signals).
  • Maintain a weekly content calendar and ensure deliverables ship on time.
  • Acquire content when needed (UGC sourcing, licensing outreach, creator coordination, content collection workflows).
  • Develop repeatable content "series" that can scale (templates, scripts, formats).
  • Partner with product/growth to align content with launches, experiments, and conversion goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing creative teams or content production pipelines (short-form preferred).
  • Strong taste and speed: you can spot winning patterns and execute quickly without overthinking.
  • Comfortable using performance data to refine creative strategy.
  • Strong communication and leadership—able to push for output while keeping quality high.
  • High ownership: you don't wait for direction; you build the system and run it.

Bonus Points

  • Experience managing UGC/influencers or sourcing content at scale.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for trend mining, scripting, storyboard variations, and production acceleration.
  • Experience working with app/growth teams and building content that converts.

  • A reliable content machine exists with clear roles, workflows, and weekly output targets.
  • You consistently turn trends into content that performs and improves over time.
  • Decision-making is guided by analytics, not vibes—without killing creativity.
